In modern Flexible Manufacturing Systems (FMS), material handling equipment with fixed tracks often limits the flexibility of production lines. The mobile assisted manipulator from JingShi integrates the free mobility of a universal wheel base with the precise assistance of a robotic arm. It requires no complex installation of overhead tracks and only needs an air source or power supply to move freely between multiple workstations such as stamping, welding, machining and assembly. This not only saves costly civil renovation costs but also realizes genuine human-machine collaborative handling, making it an optimal solution for improving workshop logistics efficiency.
Space Efficiency: Maximize Floor Space Efficiency. Unlike traditional overhead cranes, our mobile manipulator operates at ground level. The compact base design frees up valuable overhead space, making it perfect for workshops with height restrictions.
Ergonomic Handling: Experience True "Zero-Gravity" Lifting. With an operating force of just ≤5N, operators can maneuver heavy loads (up to 200kg) with a single finger. This eliminates operator fatigue and reduces the risk of musculoskeletal injuries.
Safety Assurance: Triple-Layer Safety Architecture. Safety is non-negotiable. Our system features automatic overload protection, a fail-safe brake that locks instantly during power loss, and a robust anti-derailment design for the mobile base.
JingShi offers three standard load models, covering handling requirements from light-duty machined parts to heavy-duty automotive components. All models are manufactured from high-strength alloy steel to ensure long-term stability under full load conditions.
Model SZJS-DZYD-100 is our most popular option. It achieves an optimal balance between a 2.5m working radius and a compact footprint, making it ideal for operation in narrow passage environments. Customization is available for loads exceeding 200kg upon request.
Automotive: Transfer door panels, hoods and chassis components between welding fixtures to ensure zero scratches.
Sheet Metal: Move large sheet metal parts from laser cutting machines to bending machines without the need for two-person collaboration.
Logistics: Load and unload pallets in racking systems, serving as an optimal alternative for narrow areas inaccessible to forklifts.
Since 2016, Suzhou JingShi has been focusing on the research, development and manufacturing of material handling solutions. Our engineering team has over 10 years of experience in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Every mobile assist manipulator undergoes strict load testing at our production base in Suzhou to ensure compliance with ISO quality standards. We not only sell equipment, but also provide OEM/ODM engineering services to customize exclusive solutions according to your specific factory layout.
Q: Is the mobile base stable enough when lifting heavy loads? Will it tip over?
A: Absolutely. Safety is our top priority. The mobile base is engineered with a low center of gravity and a widened wheelbase to ensure maximum stability. Furthermore, the system is equipped with an automatic overload protection device. If the load exceeds the rated capacity (e.g., trying to lift 150kg with a 100kg model), the manipulator will mechanically lock and refuse to lift, completely preventing any risk of tipping over.
Q: What are the requirements for the workshop floor? Can it move over small obstacles?
A: The manipulator is equipped with high-quality industrial casters (usually 2 fixed + 2 swivel with brakes). It operates smoothly on standard concrete or epoxy floors. While it is designed for flat surfaces, the heavy-duty casters can easily roll over minor obstacles like small cable protectors or floor gaps (under 10mm). For uneven outdoor terrain, we recommend installing fixed rails or using our overhead crane solutions instead.
Q: Can the end-effector (gripper) be customized for my specific product?
A: Yes, customization is our core strength. Whether you need to handle cardboard boxes, metal sheets, drums, or irregular automotive parts, we can design the perfect end-effector for you. Common options include vacuum suction cups, mechanical clamps, hooks, and magnetic grippers. We can also design "quick-change" systems that allow one manipulator to handle multiple different products.
Q: What happens if the air supply or power is suddenly cut off during operation?
A: The system features a fail-safe braking mechanism. In the event of a sudden loss of air pressure or power, the manipulator will immediately lock in its current position. The load will not drop, and the arm will not collapse. The operator can safely unload the part manually once the system is stabilized.
